Description
Progress Housing Group (PHG) are seeking an experienced Contractor to complete a refurbishment on one of their existing properties. This property is currently unoccupied and will be occupied by a prospective tenant with learning difficulties and the current layout, finishes and installations are not fit for purpose to meet the tenants needs. PHG intend to source a compliant Contractor to take on the adaptation and refurbishment works to this existing domestic property. The Contractor will need to be fully compliant with all Health and Safety regulations and any other industry requirements. In summary, the works include the following;
•Internal alterations and refurbishment works within the existing property to form a new layout to suit the tenants need and accommodate support staff.
•Associated plumbing and M&E services alterations.
•Associated decoration and new floor finishes throughout the property.
Associated external alterations to improve the privacy and accessibility of the property.
The tenant is currently living in unsuitable accommodation and therefore is important that the programme is delivered on time and as per the specification programme.
The property is located in Blackpool, Lancashire and is therefore subject to Building Regulations 2010 and associated Approved Documents. It is beneficial that all bidders have knowledge and experience, however there is an Employers Agent on this project who will assist in this process.
