Description

Helena Partnerships ("Helena") is an Admitted Body in the Merseyside Pension Fund ("MPF"). This is a Local Government Pension Scheme(LGPS) and Helena became an Admitted Body on transfer of the housing stock from St Helens Council in July 2002.

MPF provides Defined Benefit pensions for its members. The LGPS has been closed to new entrants by Helena. There is currently a deficit in the scheme and the pension administrator is requiring Helena to provide a pension bond of £20m for a period up to 31 March 2020
