We are currently inviting applications from providers who are able to supply The GREAT Project with Health & Wellbeing support provision.

Voluntary Action LeicesterShire (VAL) is the lead for the Big Lottery Fund / ESF Building Better Opportunities 'In Support of Family Inclusion' in the Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership area (http://www.llep.org.uk/).

The Getting Ready for Employment and Training (GREAT) Project is a free service designed to give members of families, who are not currently employed, the support they need to find work or training opportunities. The project has completed its initial 3 year phase and has been extended until the end of February 2022.

We are currently inviting applications from providers who are able to deliver Health & Wellbeing support to GREAT Project Participants which will complement our existing programme of activities and where a physical or mental health barrier, disability or learning disability has been identified as a barrier towards employment and training.

This service will work across Leicester and Leicestershire delivering one to one support and workshops on all aspects of improving a participants health & wellbeing that allows them to start seeing employment as an achievable goal and thinking more positively about the world of work.
