STFC Daresbury Laboratory has a need to purchase 2 No. bespoke UHV pumping systems for its commitment to testing the Superconducting RF High Beta cavities for the European Spallation Source.

The Technical Specification and associated documents and drawings give details for the provision for the UHV pumping systems of the Superconducting RF High β Cavities. The contract will be to supply 2 No. bespoke UHV pumping systems to operate in a radiation environment that will include:

a. Design of the UHV system to fit within a defined space
b. Vacuum gauges
c. Vacuum Valves
d. Residual Gas Analysers
e. Mass Flow Controllers
f. Pressure Relief Devices
g. Full Programmable Logic Control
h. Electrical design
