Description
The Science in Industry Research Centre (SIRC) supports companies in the West Midlands to develop new science based products. SIRC is operated from the University of Wolverhampton and is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The equipment described in this tender is being purchased to support project delivery and the underpinning research.
The University of Wolverhampton seeks to procure for SIRC an additive manufacturing technology to support new and emerging research across biotechnology, polymers and life sciences. It is anticipated the technology will enable reproduction of microscale structures. One particular ongoing research theme includes that of osteogenic implant development.
