Description

The University wishes to appoint a Contractor or Contractors to supply a High Temperature Multidimensional Testing Facility. This project is to design, manufacture, install and commission a multi-axial compression and tensile testing facility to test material mechanical properties at high temperatures. This testing facility forms part of the UKCRIC (UK Collaboratorium for Research in Infrastructure and Cities) National Centre for Infrastructure Materials (NCIM). UKCRIC NCIM consists of three partners: the University of Manchester, Imperial College London and University of Leeds. The testing facility for this tender will be installed at the University of Manchester.
