Description

NOTE: This notice was updated on 05 July 2019 for the following reason: Telephone Number for Roy Maynard is Incorrect please use 01582 497305.(The project comprises the provision of three 2.5MVA continuously rated diesel driven automatic standby sets at the Luton and Dunstable University Hospital NHS Trust to provide back -up support to the hospitals current and future redevelopment plans, plus meet the latest NHS recommendations.
The Trust in conjunction with the design team have produced outline scheme proposals for the HV/LV upgrade works as part of a separate project. These will be discussed in greater detail with the appointed Contractor.
The Hospital is to remain a live environment and in full operation for the complete duration of the works as set out within the sequence of works detailed within this specification. This performance specification identifies the Trusts requirements for procuring the standby generators to support the network and ultimately provide 100% backup on an N+1 arrangement.
Luton and Dunstable NHS Foundation Trust are currently upgrading their primary HV and LV infrastructure to support their site redevelopment proposals. These works are currently on site.)
