• The provision of emergency hormonal contraception (EHC) to 13-25 year olds via community pharmacies.\r
• The provision of chlamydia screening to 15-24 year olds via community pharmacies and general practice. \r
Providing services in the community through community pharmacies and general practice allows timely and convenient access to sexual health services especially in areas of greatest need, with the broader aim of preventing unintended conceptions and terminations, providing early testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and reducing health inequalities.
