Description

Violent Patient Scheme Service for Leicester City CCG (LC CCG), East Leicestershire & Rutland Clinical Commissioning Group (ELR CCG) and West Leicestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (WL CCG)
Arden & GEM Commissioning Support Unit (AGCSU) will be conducting a procurement exercise in the future on behalf of the three Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland Clinical Commissioning Groups, to seek suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver the Violent Patient Scheme service.
The Violent Patient Scheme was introduced by the Department of Health to ensure that patients that have been removed from general medical services practice for violent, aggressive or threatening behaviour are able to access general medical care.
The objectives of this project are to commission an LLR wide solution for the provision of GP services for service users that have been removed from general medical practices lists within the LLR CCG areas.
Expressions of interest are being sought, via email, to assist with the planning of this procurement.
