Description

The North Cumbria Integrated Care System is committed to supporting people to achieve optimum health, be independent, reduce health inequalities and improving the health and wellbeing of its citizens. Cumbria has a rural geography and building on the natural strengths of our local communities our ambition is to promote the development of local solutions to meet local needs. Cumbria County Council wishes to commission a Supplier to support the development of micro-enterprises - small scale, flexible, responsive, high quality local services and supports that enhance market capacity and give people real choice and control over their care and support in a designated area of Cumbria. The area for development is primarily that of the Keswick and Solway Integrated Care Community. The Supplier will be tasked with the development and implementation of a work plan to address the issues stated in the service specification, through small scale, local solutions which will attract a wider workforce into the sector and support people to stay at home in their communities with either regulated or non-regulated support. The role of the Supplier is to facilitate and support the development of local innovation and development, bringing knowledge and expertise in the field of micro-enterprise development from similar rural local authority areas. No direct service delivery to people is required from the Supplier. The duration of the project is two years. For full details please visit The Chest and refer to the ITT and its schedules, including the Service Specification. If you are not already registered on The Chest, registration is free. All bids must be uploaded to The Chest by the stated deadline. Please make a note of this deadline as late bids will not be accepted. Here is the link to The Chest; https://www.the-chest.org.uk/
