Oxfordshire County Council is inviting consultants that are qualified to develop Local Area Energy Plans (LAEP) to a series of Hybrid Open Days in Oxfordshire on the 8th and 14th of August, to carry out additional market testing on the Oxfordshire LAEP Draft Specifications, and bring together local engagement specialists and investment specialists with LAEP consultants to explore consortia and subcontracting opportunities.
Procurement commencement is scheduled for the 16th of August. The successful Oxfordshire LAEP (OxLAEP) consultant will deliver the LAEP, building on the Energy System Catapult LAEP standards, and support the local County and District councils with the development of a LAEP function: embedding LAEP capability in-house, so that local area energy planning can become integral to the Councils' work.
