Description
This Opportunity is for a 50Mw Battery Storage Development adjacent to Morrison Busty Annfield Plan.
Durham County Council are looking to enter into a land lease arrangement to enable a battery storage development at Annfield Plain (Location NZ176507), the site is near the Morrison Busty depot, close to a Northern Powergrid (NPG) substation (approx. 400m to the North east), access to the site is through the Council's Morrison Busty Depot.
The developer must install appropriate perimeter fencing and CCTV Security Systems. There are some access tracks to the site, although improvements works and a new access to the lease land will be required should the development go forward.
The successful bidder will enter into a contract to pay for the necessary NPG connection costs, obtain all planning permissions and any other consents, ecology costs, maintain the battery units and landscaping around the boundary of the site, and pay a land rent to the Council.
