Description
Genomics England Ltd (GEL) is delivering a Cancer 2.0 programme of work aiming to explore how research, diagnosis and care for cancer patients can be optimised through a number of ground-breaking initiatives. The programme of work includes a 'long-read' workstream which aims to pilot the new technology within the NHS Genomics Laboratory Hubs (GLHs). In order to be a success, the long-read workstream must rapidly build a pipeline of long-read genomes through acquiring samples, analysing them and relaying the data back to the NHS.
