Description
Cambridge City Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council (the Councils) are producing a joint Greater Cambridge Local Plan which will cover the combined area of these local authorities. The Councils are seeking suitably qualified consultants to prepare a Allotment & Alternative Food-growing Strategy to provide a robust evidence base for the development of the Greater Cambridge (GC) Local Plan, and to help inform wider service delivery.
New and existing food-growing spaces can assume a wide variety of forms across urban and rural locations, from established, traditional allotments to more diversified, horticulture community spaces such as community gardens and orchards as well as food-producing landscapes.
