Description

The Supplier will supply vehicles that will fulfil the requirements set out by UKAEA for the role the vehicle is required for (See appendix 10)
UKAEA's policy is to use fully electric vehicles though it is understood that at this time there are a limited number of vehicles with this capability and that there may not be a suitable fully electric vehicle available that can retain enough charge to enable up to 8 hours work a day without the need to recharge during the working day. There may also be an issue with availability of an electricity supply for recharging therefore UKAEA may choose alternative fuelled vehicles if necessary. As the vehicles are used inside diesel/petrol is not an option.
