Description

Kent County Council (the "Council") is looking to procure a single supplier NEC4 Framework Contract for purchase of ad hoc independent cost consultancy services supporting the Council's Major Capital Programme Team (MCPT) with the projects relating to the construction of major highway and transportation schemes. Support will also be required to other teams across the Growth, Environment and Transport Directorate for highway and transportation projects and contracts.
The required Framework Contract will be used as a basis for purchasing services for individual Work Orders linked to separate works projects as and when required. The Council will place individual Work Orders using the NEC4 Professional Services Short Contract.

The Council requires new service arrangements from on 1 April 2022. The Initial Contract Period will be 36 months, with an option to extend for up to a further 24 months (via two separate extension periods of 12 month each).

The supplier will be required to:
(a) have demonstrable suitable experience, competence and capability in providing independent cost consultancy services relating to the construction of major highway and transportation schemes;
(b) comply with ISO9001 (Quality Management System) or comparable standards; and
(c) be an accredited member of RICS or similar relevant professional organisation.
