Description
Together we set out our vision and requirements for the delivery of high-quality Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) services across the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and the City of Westminster (the Councils).
Our vision is for women and girls over the age of 13 years to be supported through a coordinated community response. The councils are dedicated to improving long term outcomes and wellbeing for survivors and their families, where women and girls are supported by services that are responsive and tailored to best meet their needs. These core outcomes will be at the heart of a support service across the three boroughs.
Lot 1 is for the provision of shared VAWG coordination of:
Three separate Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC) to ensure there is adequate support and safety planning for high risk victims of domestic abuse identified by partners from across Westminster, Kensington, and Hammersmith; and
Shared Domestic Violence Court at Westminster Magistrates Court to provide a more effective criminal justice service response for victims of domestic abuse resident in Westminster.
Lot 2 is for the provision of front-line, shared VAWG Support Services, including:
Support for victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence;
Support for women who experience additional structural inequalities of race, social and economic class, insecure immigration status, sexual orientation and identity, ability and age;
Women experiencing multiple disadvantage, including women dependent on drugs or alcohol and survivors with complex mental health needs; and
Improved support for children and young people
