Health Education England are putting out this notice as a PIN (Prior Information Notice) with a view to completing a Direct Award to South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLAM)

The case for direct award can be found on the tender portal.

HEE is seeking a provider to deliver Family Therapy training for Anorexia Nervosa (FTAN), for clinicians working within a multi-disciplinary child and adolescent eating disorder teams within England.

HEE believes that it is highly unlikely for any other supplier to be able to provide the following skills/tools provided by SLAM as a supplier for the following reasons:

• hold extensive knowledge and understanding of HEE's requirements for CYP eating disorders training
• has the relevant abilities and experience to provide specific eating disorder training to the workforce, improving their knowledge and skills, which will overall improve the quality of care for children, young people, and their families has an established modular training package to suit the needs of the CYP ED workforce
• has capacity to move at pace to deliver the training programme to meet the urgent training needs of the workforce
• has experience in delivering CYP ED training both face to face and online, and has a suite of training materials that can be accessed by learners outside of the live training environment
• has an experienced team of trainers employed to deliver the learning to a large number of learners, in line with the training budget
• has the infrastructure to connect learners across the country and facilitate conversations between learners
• can ensure equity of opportunity across the NHS regions by offering training across England
