Description
Norwich City Council (the council) provides a range of statutory and non-statutory services to the city of Norwich including waste and recycling, planning, housing and events.
The Corporate Plan and the 2040 Norwich City Vision set out the council's priorities and objectives.
For more information about the city council and its services visit www.norwich.gov.uk
The council, in addition to its stock of council-owned social housing, manages a number of privately owned properties which it uses to house tenants as required.
To fulfil its legal obligations under the Landlord and Tenants Act 1988, the Council requires, on an ad-hoc basis, various small works, repairs and services to be undertaken on these properties.
The objectives of the procurement are:
• To secure value for money services and support the council priorities of; People living well and great neighbourhoods, housing and environment.
The maximum total value awarded under this framework will be £440,000 over the total 4 year period.
The council has a growing portfolio of approximately 310 properties that the council's private sector leasing team (LetNCC) manage and require maintaining.
We now wish to establish our own framework of between 3 and 4 contractors to ensure our repair and void targets are met.
