Description

Prison Sector Prison Industries have 17 Engineering and Windows work-shops employing over 500 prisoners. Manufacturing products for the internal market, MOD and commercial companies, disciplines include: welding and fabrication, sheet metal, CNC machining and powder painting in our engineering workshops and in our windows manufacturing cell windows, telephone boxes, tilt and turn windows, anti-finger trap doors, amongst other products. Window workshops are currently at HMP Coldingley, The Mount, Hewell and Wymott.

This notice provides the outline of the intention to introduce a new contract for the supply of aluminium profile systems and other associated items for the manufacture of window frames, roofs, and greenhouses.

The provision is split into 4 lots, window profile systems, roof profile systems, and greenhouse systems, the 4th lot is for all 3 lots combined.
