Description
The work consists of supplying, installing, maintaining, testing and repairing various fire doorsets at various locations across the borough and shall include all labour, all materials to form a complete installation, setting to work, testing, commissioning, provision of records as well as operating and maintenance manuals for the new doorsets, various elements and equipment as specified to ensure full, effective, compliant and safe operation and also to give effective and compliant installations to the satisfaction of the Client. This arrangement will be required for use across properties (stock) managed by the London Borough of Hounslow covering many different property archetypes. They will be entrance doorsets suitable for interior of buildings (low, medium and high rise blocks), balconies and street level. (Note street level will not generally call for fire or smoke performance). They may also include communal doors as well as electrical intake and dry riser doors. There will be installation prioritisation for high-rise blocks, sheltered schemes, mid-rise blocks, low-rise blocks and then other property architypes - in that order (unless otherwise instructed).
