Description

Essex County Council, in partnership with the named Essex Clinical Commissioning Groups within this contract notice, is seeking to commission a Specialist Healthcare Tasks service that will provide competency based training and delegation of healthcare tasks to non-health qualified staff working with children and young people up to the age of 19. This service will be provided to a range of staff working with these young people, including SEN School transport providers, identified Essex Social Care staff, short break foster carers and identified or/and Education staff and workers supporting young people who access Essex short breaks. Full details of the scope of this service can be located within the tender documents.
In addition, prospective candidates are advised that this procurement will be conducted under the light touch regime and the Council is unable to accept any variant bids or proposals which incorporate sub-contracting options in respect of this service.
