Description

The purpose of this Early Engagement Notice is to notify the market of a potential procurement activity relating to the Department for Education's North West Strategic Improvement Advisor (SIA) pilot. This pilot aims to improve Local Authority performance across the North West through increased leadership capacity and a more strategic approach to improvement activity that targets multiple Local Authorities. The role of the SIA includes:
a. Leading the delivery of a region-wide improvement plan, which will identify specific actions and investments to support the region overcome the most pressing challenges facing the North West.
b. Using the status of the role to facilitate greater collaboration and commitment from key partners (health, police, and education) and corporate and political leaders to catalyse improvements in Children's Social Care.

We are looking to hold a virtual Market Engagement event on 17th April 2023, comprising an initial presentation and Q&A at 1pm to 2pm followed by the offer of 15-minute one-to-one discussions available on a first-come first-serve basis.
