Description

Public Health England (PHE) is seeking to purchase a hollow fibre system for PK/PD studies of novel antimicrobial compounds for its Technology Development Group (TDG) at Porton.

The requirement must meet the following mandatory specifications for the hollow fibre system:

- Two compartment model - involving hollow fibre cartridges
- Cartridges must have high surface area to volume - in excess of 150 cm2 per millilitre of volume
- Syringe ports must be part of the cartridge
- A semi-permeable membrane of the cartridge which must have several choices to choose from.
- Must provide rapid and uniform distribution
- A central reservoir and pump system
