Description

The Council wishes to establish a Contract for the provision of a Civic Cleaning Electric Equipment Lease Agreement including:

The provision of cleaning lease agreement to Birmingham City Council (the Council) Non-Educational Buildings and some external companies. These buildings range in size from large administrative hubs within excess of 2000 occupants to small local libraries. A complete list of buildings is contained with Appendix 4. The service will require the supply of equipment, repairs and maintenance and delivery and collection. The portfolio may expand or contract over the duration of the contract, this may also impact our equipment needs.

To deliver this service a diverse range of cleaning equipment is utilised ranging from rechargeable carpet sweepers to commercial scrubber dryers.

Birmingham City Council Civic Cleaning requires a supplier for the provision of leasing cleaning equipment.

The Contract will last for 4 years (unless terminated under the terms and conditions of contract) with the provision to extend for up to an additional 1 year subject to requirements and satisfactory performance.
