Description
The LEP will continue to lead the Leeds City Region presence and delegation at MIPIM exhibitions throughout 2018 and 2019 with the aim of driving awareness and attracting interest in development, investment and occupier opportunities which are available across our city region.
The world's largest property exhibition and conference, MIPIM attracts over 24,200 property influencers and decision makers from 100 countries over 4 days - see www.mipim.com for details.
MIPIM UK was launched in October 2014 and is attracting a growing audience of investors and developers, and local authority exhibitors - see www.mipimuk.co.uk for details.
The Leeds City Region delegation comprises senior public sector figures and private sector representatives from the property industry.
The past few years have seen increasing levels of demand, engagement and expectation from stakeholders. A recent consultation reinforces the public and private sector partners' positive stance towards attendance at the event.
As the City Region's attendance at the MIPIM event has now become a substantial undertaking we wish to undertake a tender exercise for a delivery partner to assist with the following services:
• Provision of administration services in respect of invoicing sponsors, collecting MIPIM sponsorship monies, payment of related invoices in Euros and Sterling.
• The administration and procurement of MIPIM related goods and services.
A delivery contract will be agreed upon appointment.
Minimum Standards - demonstrable experience working with businesses to offer administration and financial administration support during length of the contract. The company will have been in business for minimum 5 years and have a track record of delivering a similar service to the public sector.
The contract is expected to be a value of £25k. It is envisaged that the contract will commence in July and terminate on 31st March 2019.
Prospective tenderers should submit expressions of interest to procurement@westyorks-ca.gov.uk by noon Monday 11th June 2018. This should comprise a document explaining their relevant experience of managing large events, with specific reference to MIPIM and what services they can off to the Combined Authority.
