Description
LGV and Driver CPC Training
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough The Council requires LGV Large Goods Vehicle - also known as HGV / Heavy Goods Vehicle and Driver CPC Driver Certificate of Professional Competence training to be delivered to a range of Sandwell MBC staff in driving related job roles. Initially, there are approximately 8 employees who need LGV Class 2 and Driver CPC training. Most staff who require driver training will be based in the following service areas:
Highways
Fleet Services
Repairs
Due to the nature of the training, the practical element of any driving course test as well as classroom-based learning that cannot be done virtually training must be delivered at the training providers venue in a suitable location within a 20-miles radius of Oldbury B69. This does not include driving test routes that exceed the 20-mile radius, just the starting point of the route.The estimated budget available for the delivery of this training is ?30,000 and the contract period will be for 3 years, commencing 01 October 2022 to 30 September 2025. However, this information is intended to assist with the preparation of your bid. The Council does not bind itself to this or any other figure and is not a guarantee of business which may be generated from this contract.
The tendered prices will remain fixed for the duration of the contract.
