Description
The Wolverhampton Energy from Waste (EFW) plant is owned by the council, and came back into council operation in February 2023 following a 25 year O&M contract operation by a third party contractor.
The plant is capable of processing 118,000 tonnes per year of general household waste and operates 24 hours per day 7 days per week, 365 days per year.
The Council is seeking a supplier who can provide an end to end service to sell and manage the ongoing electricity sales from the plant for the council.
