Description
Newry and Mourne Museum and Down County Museum contain mixed social history collections comprising objects, documents, photographs and textiles. Newry and Mourne Museum has a highly important local history archival collection (The Reside Collection) while Down County Museum contains an extensive photographic collection.
A paper Conservator is required at both museums to carry out conservation on documents, photographs, and artworks on paper, to install/deinstall exhibitions and to provide an emergency call-out service.
