Chamber Specifications:
This chamber is for work with Antarctic and Arctic plants and must be able to run the following program as a minimum:

Temperature: 0 °C day and night for a minimum of 12 weeks
Lighting: at full lighting, a photon flux density at 0 °C of 1200 µmol photons m-2 s-1 - i.e., sufficient to drive photosynthesis in higher plant leaves
Special requirement: during the defrost cycle the back heat to the chamber must not exceed a 5 °C increase, and recovery to 0 °C must be within 30 minutes
