Description
The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) requirement is for the procurement of a high frequency synthesizer (RF synthesizer to 20 GHz) for general use at the new Advanced Quantum Metrology Laboratory (AQML).
Requirement is for quantity of one.
The tunable laser system needs to have a wide tuning range and narrow spectral linewidth for greatest flexibility. There must also be the capability for external fine frequency or phase control with a high modulation bandwidth for tight optical phase locking of the tunable laser to our frequency comb system.
