Description

The scope of this tender is to find a system that will, for both the Local Government Pension Scheme and the Firefighters' Pension schemes, allow employers to submit payroll data directly using a cloud based secure, validated system to LCC Pensions, which would allow the content to be checked before either rejecting or uploading data directly to the administration system used by LCC Pensions, Altair.

This would include data in respect of:

• New starters to pension schemes, allowing records to be automatically created on Altair;
• Updating of monthly data, including contributions and CARE pay details;
• Changes to personal data;

The system should also have the facility to:
• Combine pension contributions and pay data where a member with multiple jobs has only one record on Altair, but keeping other members who have both multiple jobs and Altair records, separated.

• Provide details of any leavers;
• To highlight any possible inconsistencies within the submitted data in the form of a 'Error / Warnings' report;

• Allow data to be submitted to and from the employer via a secure portal;

• Allow payroll providers to submit data for multiple employers within the same solution;

Ideally; the ability to transfer other information securely; e.g. Microsoft Word documents, PDFs etc, (possibly as part of a future development).
