Description
The requirement is for a delivered food service is required to supplement the University's own in-house facility, Fresh Thinking, in particular at busy times of year. The service must be in accordance with the requirements of the University's Food Safety Policy. Please note that it is the University's intention to keep as much catering business in-house as possible.
Requirements will be for fork and finger buffets, sandwich lunches, hot food and hot and cold beverages for any number of clients (5 - 500) as required. Provision must be made for vegetarian, vegan, Halal and any other special dietary requirements as requested. Suppliers should state whether they are able to offer alcoholic beverages under the Licensing Act 2003.
THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT FOR REPLACING THE UNIVERSITY'S CORE CATERING BUSINESS - THIS TENDER IS MERELY FOR SUPPLEMENTARY AD HOC PROVISION.
