Description
The primary objective of the contract is to:
- Review and identify walking routes connecting communities within East Durham to each other and the coast with volunteers. Design and produce associated walking route leaflets (digital format) and maps to promote these routes.
- Review the existing Durham Heritage Coast Partnership walking routes leaflets, and redesign the promotional material including new maps (digital format).
- Identify a safe walking route from Horden Train Station to the England Coast Path including where access improvements are necessary, and design a promotional map for use in signage.
- Review and refresh the East Durham Cycle Route leaflet and produce in a digital format
The Council has confirmed East Durham Area Action Partnership and NLHF (National Lottery Heritage Fund) funding to enable delivery of this Project.
