Description

The provision of Civic Chauffeuring and Mace Bearing services to the Lord Mayor, Deputy Lord Mayor and passengers to and from destination engagements in a comfortable, safe and efficient manner. Meeting these objectives will entail additional responsibilities, tasks, knowledge and attention to detail.
When attending engagements drivers are expected to represent the City Council and the contractor and attend to the Lord Mayor and Consort when requested or required.
The Lord Mayor's driver will be expected to undertake the role of Macebearer at City Council meetings, Remembrance Sunday and other civic occasions, when required.
