Description

Hertsmere Borough Council is seeking to procure a Contractor to undertake repairs, maintenance and minor works to the Council's corporate portfolio of properties, including operational, commercial and a small number of residential units.

The tender process will establish a single Contractor to deliver all building, mechanical and electrical responsive and planned repairs, out of hours call out service, maintenance and minor works to ensure properties remain statutorily/best practice compliant and fit for the Council's purposes.

The contract is to be based partly on a bespoke priced schedule of composite rates, schedule of servicing and inspection requirements and the remainder of works commissioned on a daywork, plant and materials basis, a requested estimate or quotation. The contractor's attention is drawn to the detailed information required when submitting an invoice; this must be fully reflected in the hourly rates.
