Description

It is the Boards intension to award this contract to a single Contractor. The proposed works will comprise of building maintenance repair works and the application of decorative / protective coatings to the external / internal elevations of the lighthouse tower, and the removal and filling in of an old tank. More specifically, the main items of work are as follows:

•Establish the site.
•Erect "Heras" fencing around the perimeter of the site.
•Ease and adjust doors to tower.
•Fully / partially strip existing external paint coatings.
•Fully / partially strip existing internal paint coatings.
•Prepare and redecorate lighthouse.
•Replace all defective mastic
•Replace missing infill panels to railings.
•Carry out minor repairs to roof and coat with 3M.
•Remove rotten tank timbers and infill with concrete.
•Dismantle "Heras" fencing.
•Clear the site.
