Description

This contract has already been awarded and it is published here for transparency.

This requirement is for the appointment of a service provider, 'aggregator' to provide demand-side response services including STOR and Triad Management to Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) from the Demand-Side Response (DSR) Services Framework Agreement (Ref: RM964).
The purpose of the project is to identify and realise financial savings and revenue generation through Demand Side Response from a customised mixture of targeted energy reductions designed to minimise any operational impacts and on-site generation capabilities which may include 'emergency' back-up generators or-co-generation by:
a) Implementing a process and programme for STOR management across the UK Defence estate whilst maintaining Defence capability by 48 (MONTHS); and
b) Implementing a process and programme for Triad management across the UK Defence estate whilst maintaining Defence capability by 48 (MONTHS).


LOCATION
The preliminary sites for provision of the Services are:
1. Digby, Ashby De La Launde, LN4 3LH
2. Wattisham Airfield, Ipswich, IP7 7RA
3. RAF Wyton, Huntingdon, PE28 2EA
The service will be rolled out to other sites following its successful introduction at these (or other) preliminary sites.

BUDGET
There should be no upfront costs to DIO and the whole programme should be self-funding.
