Description
Multiply is the Government's new programme with the aim to increase numeracy skills for adults aged 19 and over. The programme is managed by the Department of Education.
ECC has been awarded funding for delivery of this programme through out Essex.
Multiply in Essex will provide funding to develop new bespoke courses that support key aspects of Multiply delivery that will be rolled out through local skills training providers and into the community, involving local schools, businesses and voluntary and community organisations in the delivery of new pathways into learning. These programmes will lead to attainment of a qualification, but non-qualification provision will also be offered where this is more appropriate to help address the needs of residents of Essex, and in alignment with the national aims for Multiply.
The purpose of this tender is to create a supply chain of organisations to deliver this programme.
