Description

Off-site Archive, Destruction & Retrieval Service.

KEY COMPONENTS OF THE CONTRACT:
o Secure and appropriate storage of the paper records
o Delivery service for the return of records when required (both next day, same day delivery service)
o Supply of barcodes and boxes in the case of new records to be stored (i.e. after an election)
o A requirement of having off-site archive records exported in proprietary format / delivered electronically
o Certified destruction of records on demand.
o Contract Management and performance monitoring
o Transfer of existing storage to the new contract
o Five year contract with option to extend by up to two years

The Council is due to re-tender this contract in the next few months, so we are looking at how the market can offer us efficiencies in the service.
