Description

The Chew Valley Lake Recreational Trail (CVLRT) will provide an all-weather off-road shared route for cyclists and walkers around Chew Valley Lake between the key destinations of Woodford Lodge to the west and the Salt and Malt café facilities on the east side of the lake and continuing on to Twy Cross Farm lane, which includes for the replacement of an existing timber footbridge over Hollow Brook.

The project includes:
• Construction of a new off-road shared use path between Woodford Lodge and Walley Lane, approximately 840m total length
• Construction of a shared use path between the dam to the north and Twy Cross Farm lane via the Salt and Malt café. Total length approximately 1.5km. This also includes replacing an existing narrow footbridge over Hollow Brook.
