Details
Provision of the 2 boats described below on an 8 month, end-user crewed, long term hire contract with a start date of the 1st February 2019. The vessels will be stored afloat on the end-users pontoons in the Milford Haven Waterways and will be used daily for transfer of personnel, tools and equipment - estimate a daily usage of 4Hrs (minimum) for each craft.
1."Work Boat- Up to 33ft LOA for sea keeping, vessel cannot be bigger than this due to docking requirements on the test platform. Minimum number of spaces for 10 people including crew. The vessel MUST be MCA coded CAT 2 for operation up to 60 miles from Safe Haven. Twin engine, Enclosed Bridge/cabin with seating for at least 4 crew, Crew welfare to include Head, Galley and accommodation. External flat deck space of at least 2.5m x 2m, Full Navionics fit to include VHF with DSC, Radar, Sonar. fendering as vessel will moor against concrete floating structure. Upper deck to be provided with all round Safety Harness Rails, Man overboard recovery equipment, Full Solas Fit"
2."Small RIB - Requirement of a RIB which is approximately 4m LOA, this will be for up close maintenance on the test platform. Easily maintainable engine by Wave-Tricity personnel, with oars for an emergency propulsion method, comes with a trailer, highly maneuverable, This RIB will be towed behind the Work Boat and used when the workboat is too big to maintain certain elements of the test platform."
