Description
The SCW CSU Geographic Intelligence & Mapping Team is the largest Geographic Information System (GIS) service across any of England's CSUs / NHSE regions and CCGs. We currently support 31 CCGs across the South of England and two regional NHSE teams: South West and South East. We also support NHSE Central around GP, Pharmacy and Dental Commissioning and also provide GIS services to a number of STPs/ICSs and NHS Hospital Trusts.
The SCW GIS Service offer comprises of two elements - Online web GIS tools and a GIS Consultancy service. Our web GIS tools include Strategic national level projects through to GP practice operational level web tools, in addition to bespoke web projects. The GIS Consultancy service offers spatial analysis and mapping across the whole spectrum of NHS projects, from Primary Care through to STP Service reconfiguration projects.
The SCW CSU GIS Service is also in a unique position, being an Ordnance Survey licensed partner. Through our partnership status and the Ordnance Survey Public Sector Mapping Agreement (OS PSMA), we have access to a complete range of data sets at national scale, to use in our GIS analysis for the benefit of our NHS customers.
We are looking to review and implement from the current 'Class leading' GIS software platform providers
