Description
The University of Cumbria has been actively developing students to HCPC registration as paramedics for a number of years. We are successfully growing the existing pre-hospital medicine academic offering and have long term contracts in place with NHS ambulance services and all branches of the military.
We are currently developing a cohort of ten (10) Royal Air Force Combat Medical Technicians who will qualify as paramedics in December 2016. Subsequently, they will require a driving qualification which will afford them the opportunity to work in an NHS ambulance environment. Therefore, we seek to procure the services of a training organisation who can provide a C1 driving qualification supplemented by L2 Award in Ambulance Driving and L3 Certificate in Emergency Response ambulance Driving as set out in the Future Quals (accrediting body) standards.
