Description

Brighton & Hove City Council is seeking a training provider to deliver the following open and bespoke courses to Brighton & Hove City Council (BHCC) employees (circa 10,000 including schools' employees). These courses will also be available to staff working for independent social care and partner organisations. Training courses will take place at various suitable venues across Brighton & Hove.



The medication training courses we are looking to commission are:

Administering Medication

Medication Systems and Error Management

Assessing Competencies

Annual Update for Managers

Complex Medications



A contract for this service is currently in place and we are seeking a provider for courses from September 2023 for a term of 3 year. There will be the option to extend for up to a further 1 year dependent on the value of the contract.



Successful bidders will need to provide evidence that they are able to supply a flexible, responsive service, with trainers available for multiple dates. Bidders will also need to demonstrate that they are willing to follow the Council's internal policies and standards, such as those covering quality assurance, equalities and diversity and sustainability.



Brighton and Hove City Council reserve the right to split the contract if appropriate.
