Description
1.2 Cambridgeshire County Council (The "Authority") wishes to invite tenders for the provision of a Cambridgeshire based Children in Care Residential service. The need is underpinned by the contractual requirements of the The Children's Homes (England) Regulations Act of 2015. The Service Provider is expected to exceed the values and requirements of the act through innovative care and to be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement through the internal quality assurance procedures for the service. The delivery of the service will be consistent with the Home's Statement of Purpose and in line with registration requirements.
The proposed property is based in Harston, Cambridgeshire and is hereby known as the London Road property. It is an existing 4-bedroom Council property and is intended to offer solo placements for children assessed as needing to live in an environment without other children, with the flexibility to care up to two (2) Children with high and complex needs who can be appropriately matched to live together.
