Description
Living Systems Institute hosts researchers from a broad range of backgrounds and research inter-ests. Many of these researchers require usage of a flow cytometer for a range of different sample types, including 100-micron ciliate cells, adherent and mammalian cell cultures, to yeast and bacterial cells. This flow cytometer is being purchased to support these research activities
We wish to purchase a flow cytometer as a workhorse for quantifying the number of cells in a range of different sample types. The system must be able to do high-throughput cell counting from a 96-well plate, with the ability to agitate samples to re-suspend weakly adherent cells
