Description

TRP is seeking a provider to supply Retail EPOS hardware and software with integrated stock inventory and product management capabilities. System providers are permitted to use/manage a third party to supply and install any hardware requirements as outlined in the specification.

The Retail EPOS hardware and software will manage customer payments, stock inventory and product management for TRP's flagship retail shop in Hyde Park, London. This will be TRP's first retail shop. Anticipated sales revenue is provided in the Request for Quotation.

TRP initially require Retail EPOS hardware and software for its retail shop in Hyde Park that will launch in July 2023. EPOS hardware options and costs are also requested for a mobile shop that is planned for launch in Spring 2024.

Application program interfaces and/or webservices shall be available for the main functions within the EPOS software to enable integration with TRP's finance system. The EPOS software should include the capability to add new retail channels, manage multiple stock/inventory locations and should also include product management capabilities (such as full product barcode management and product reporting).

TRP requires the system provider to maintain/support the software and any associated hardware throughout the contract term. Where using a third party to supply/install hardware, the system provider must ensure that a support package is agreed and provided for the hardware.

TRP require the Retail EPOS hardware and software for the Hyde Park retail shop to be implemented, tested and available for use for staff training in June 2023. The system provider will be required to train TRP staff on the EPOS hardware and software provided. The Hyde Park retail shop will open to the public on the 4 July 2023. The system provider must have implemented and fully tested the EPOS hardware and software for launch in a live retail environment on the 4 July 2023.

TRP is seeking to appoint a system provider on an initial three-year contract term with the option to extend the contract for one year plus one further year. Note that the period of work end date specified on this Notice refers to the date by which the system provider must have implemented and fully tested the EPOS hardware and software for launch.
