Description
Swindon Borough Employment Study (2023) consisting of Lot A: Employment Needs and Land Supply and Lot B - Retail and Main Town Centre Uses Needs Study and Lot C - Both Lot A and B for the Swindon Borough Council Local Plan (Regulation 18).
Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of the Swindon Borough Employment Study (2023). This is a multi-lot commission and consists of:
- Lot A - Employment Needs and Land Supply Study
- Lot B - Retail and Main Town Centre Uses Needs Study
- Lot C - Both Lot A and B.
The Council is keen to commission evidence to align with a new economic vision and direction for the Borough and consists of technical studies updating the employment needs and land supply position together with an update to the retail and commercial leisure evidence base.
The initial contract term will be for 9 months.

To participate, suppliers will need to register as a supplier with ProContract at www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then register and interest before obtaining access to the tender documents. In the event of difficulties registering as a supplier, please refer to the System Administrator Proactis support team: ProContractSuppliers@proactis.com.
RFQ / Tender clarifications to be submitted in writing via messaging in ProContract tender portal, including the project reference and title clearly in the subject title, by 26th May 2023 at 17:00 hrs Local Time. The Council's responses to these clarification questions will be issued periodically via messaging in ProContract tender portal.
RFQ / Tender Responses are required to be submitted no later than 16th June 2023 at 17:00 hrs Local Time via ProContract tender portal - www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk.
Please note that this project has been advertised on Contract Finder / other web portals, however, Supplying the South West Portal www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk is the only portal that includes all the relevant documents required to respond to this opportunity, bearing Project ID: DN670692.
