Description

Portsmouth City Council (the 'council') and NHS Hampshire & Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board (the 'ICB') currently have a series of Grant Agreements in place for the delivery of a wellbeing collective service. These Grant Agreements are due to end on the 31st March 2024 and are currently valued, collectively at £248,000.00 per annum.

The purpose of this engagement is to share with you information about the current service and also our proposed service specification and ask you to comment on our requirements. Any information a provider shares could be used to assist informing the final specification for a service contract arrangement moving forwards.

We are also using the process to 'test the market' to obtain a better understanding of the level of interest from potential providers in delivering this service within a contractual framework.

Providers should note that there is no obligation to take part in this exercise and that, if they do not take part, it will not preclude them from any subsequent related procurement process. Engaging providers will not receive preferential treatment in any subsequent quotation or tender process, and this is in no way an indication of the selection of any organisation or a guarantee of future work.

It should be noted that the final decisions concerning potential funding for this service are due to be taken in late September 2023 and so any decision to go ahead with this as a tender opportunity will, of necessity, be pending on those decisions. Whilst there is no guarantee of funding at this time, there is value in gaining necessary background information ahead of time so that, if a positive funding decision is made, work can proceed quickly thereafter.

Following this process, the council and the ICB will consider the appropriate route for this service. The council and the ICB would like to thank you in advance for your help with this request and assure you that all information provided will be treated as confidential
